Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-24

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MEMORI, the private family memory journal operated by us. By creating an account or using MEMORI, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian of every child whose profile you create in MEMORI. By signing up, you confirm both.

You are responsible for ensuring that any family member you invite is also at least 18 (or, where applicable, has appropriate parental consent).

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Use a strong, unique password and let us know immediately if you suspect it has been compromised.

You agree to provide accurate profile information — your name, your child’s name, and your child’s date of birth — and to keep it up to date so memories are recorded against the right timeline.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

MEMORI Plus is billed at $9.99 per child, per month. The price for any additional children is shown at checkout before you confirm.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep every memory, photo, and entry you have saved.

Refunds are issued only where required by law.

5. Your Content and Your Rights

You own everything you upload to MEMORI — every entry, every photo, every recording. It remains yours.

To operate the service, you grant us a limited, revocable licence to host, display, and back up your content for as long as your account is active or until you delete it. We will not use your content for advertising, marketing, or AI training.

6. Family Circle Members

You are responsible for the family members you invite and for the content you choose to share with them. Invited members may view what you share but cannot modify your child’s profile or billing.

You can remove any member at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that contains malware. You also agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the service.

MEMORI is a personal, private memory journal; it is not a public platform. Please respect that intent.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the account settings screen. Closing terminates these Terms and removes your access; your data is handled under our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that engage in abuse of other users or our staff, or that compromise the security of the service. Where possible, we will notify you in advance and give you a chance to export your data.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

MEMORI is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 — whichever is greater.

10. Changes to These Terms

If we make a material change to these Terms, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect so you can review and, if you wish, close your account.
